Presumably because they know information will leak fast, it seems like all the big news for Ignite came out on Day 1. Yesterday’s sessions were very much on the develop side of the Microsoft community, with a new Visual Studio Online leading the way alongside new Microsoft Graph integrations.
One low-profile announcement that caught my eye was Actionable Messages – coming soon to Mac and Mobile. These are emails that have a link embedded for a response invoking an action. A couple of years ago I worked on an engagement where the client wanted emails sent to approvers who could respond by clicking in an email on their phones, but at the time Actionable Messages were only supported in Outlook for Windows.
